Alexander Konzerowsky Obituary

Alexander W. Konzerowsky, a Philadelphia resident for many years, died Thursday, June 6, 2024.  He was 73.

Born In Phillipsburg, Germany, Al was a son of the late Michael and Maria (Jurkiw) Konzerowsky.  His family emigrated to the United States in 1957 aboard the USS General Langfit; Al was 5.  He attended St. Agnes Grade School and was a 1969 graduate of Roman Catholic High School.  Al entered the US Army in March of 1971 where he was assigned to the 5th US Army, stationed at Fort Riley, Kansas.  He was discharged in March of 1973 with the rank of Private First Class.

Al worked for Canada Dry Delaware Valley for 30 years; his first job site was at their plant in the Hunting Park section of Philadelphia and he retired from the plant in Pennsauken, NJ.  

Al is survived by his sister, Jennie Konzerowsky, brothers Bodan (Peggy) Konzerowsky and Michael Konzerowsky, his son Mark Konzerowsky and nieces and nephews.  He is predeceased by a brother, Roman Konzerowsky.

Military Honors and Requiem Services for Al will be held on Tuesday, June 25, 2024, at 10 AM at Washington Crossing National Cemetery, Newtown, PA.
