Agrippina Ribnikova Swora

Agrippina Ribnikova Swora of Wyndmoor, PA, died Friday;  she was 97.

  Born on a collective farm in Basmanovo, Smolensk oblast, Russia, Agrippina was the daughter of the late Ivan and Agrippina Ribnikov.  

  She met her husband John Swora in Germany where they married before emigrating to the United States in May of 1950 along with their daughter Tamara; they settled in the Fairmount section of Philadelphia where their second daughter Anna was born in 1951. 

  She is survived by her daughters, Tamara Swora-Gober (the late Jack Gober) and Anna Swora; she is also survived by her grandchildren, Alexander Van Haute and Elizabeth Geise (Ben) and her great-grandchildren, William and Lily.

  Her viewing will be held on Saturday, July 8, 2023 at 9:30 AM at St. Vladimir Ukrainian Orthodox Cathedral.  Requiem Services will be sung at 10:15 AM.  Burial will follow at Lawnview Cemetery.
