Lydia Bobriwnyk-Kowalchuk of New Hope, PA died at her residence on Friday, June 29, 2018.
Born in Polonne, Ukraine, Lydia was the daughter of the late Petro and Tekla (Padun) Bobriwnyk.
She was the wife of the late Very Reverend Mitred Serhij Kowalchuk and is survived by her daughter, Nila Sendzik and her husband Dr. Nestor Sendzik; her son Fr. Deacon Serge Kowalchuk and his wife Maria W. Kowalchuk; her grandchildren Peter Sendzik and John Wilshynsky and his wife Nicole Vitale-Wilshynsky, Esq.; her great-grandchild Alexander Zenowiy Wilshynsky; and extended family in the United States and Ukraine.
Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing on Friday at 6 PM at St. Vladimir Ukrainian Orthodox Cathedral, 6740 N. 5th Street. Panakhyda Prayers will be sung at 7:30 PM. Her funeral will be held on Saturday with Requiem Services celebrated at 9:30 AM. Burial will follow at St. Andrew Ukrainian Orthodox Cemetery, South Bound Brook, NJ.
