Roland H. Ellingsworth, a retired commercial printer, died Thursday, July 19, 2018. He was 77.
Born in Philadelphia, Roland was the son of the late Granville and Madeline (Bedwell) Ellingsworth. He was a member of the first graduation class at Edison High School. After graduation, Roland worked for many years at Jack Frost Sugar Company; after the closure of the sugar company in 1969, Roland found work as a printer where he learned a new trade and eventually retired from Braceland Brothers Printing Company.
Roland was a long time Minnesota Vikings fan.
He married Antonia Grobelny on June 22, 1968 (they celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary this year); they lived in Olney and Feltonville for a few years before moving to Rockledge, PA in 1977.
Roland is survived by his wife Antonia; his children: Roland S. Ellingsworth and his wife Renee, Craig M. Ellingsworth, and Andrea Lehman and her husband Matthew; his grandchildren: Brittany, Matthew, Cheryl, Kelly, Alexandra and Gabriela; his sister, Madlyn Patricia Scott; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. He is predeceased by his brothers Granville Ellingsworth, Ralph Ellingsworth, John Wayne Ellingsworth and James Gary Ellingsworth.
Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Tuesday at 9:30 AM at the Fletcher-Nasevich Funeral Home. Services will be held at 10:30 AM. Burial will follow at Lawnview Cemetery, Rockledge, PA.
