Robert worked for Rohm & Haas Chemical Company as a utility worker; he worked at their Bridesburg plant as well as their plant in Croydon, PA.  He retired in the late 1990's.

Bob is survived by his brothers Karl W. Jacob and his wife Pat and Philip L. Jacob; he is also survived by his nephews Keith W. Jacob (Danielle) and David W. Jacob (Lori) as well as his great-nieces and great-nephews: Angie, D.J., Keith Jr., Karl, Nate and Libby.
