Olga Golovka, 64, of Philadelphia PA passed away peacefully September 24, 2019 after her long battle with breast cancer.
Olga was born and raised in Lviv, Ukraine, in a loving family of Ivan and Anastasia Kachmarsky. At the age of 20, she married her friend and the love of her life Yaroslav Golovka. Remaining his beloved wife till her last days, she is loving mother of Roman Golovka and grandmother of Natalie Golovka. Also survived by her mother Anastasia Kachmarska, sister Vera Kobuley, brother-in-law Dmytro Kobuley, daughter-in-law Olga Manziy, nephews Roman and Markian Kobuley and niece Oksana Kobuley.
Olga was the person who radiated love the moment you started talking to her. Dedicated to her family first and foremost, Olga was the source of energy, strength and love to her close ones and relatives. She was the driving force when the family decided to immigrate to the United States for a better future. She especially treasured the time spent with her granddaughter Natalie.
Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing beginning 2 PM on Friday (Sept. 27, 2019) at St. Michael the Archangel Ukrainian Catholic Church with a Requiem Liturgy being celebrated at 3 PM. Burial will follow at St. Mary Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery, Elkins Park.
