Nora Ann McElholm

Nora Ann McElholm, a resident of Northeast Philadelphia, died Saturday, April 7, 2018, after a short illness.  She was 76.

Born in Letterkenny, County Donegal, Ireland, Nora was the daughter of the late Edward and Ellen (McDevitt) Sweeney.  Educated in Ireland, Nora emigrated to the United States and was employed as a packer for a food manufacturing company before retiring.

Nora was the wife of the late Michael McElholm who died in 2006 and is survived by her siblings: Sister Maureen Sweeney SSJ, Mary O'Sullivan and James Sweeney.  She is also survived by her nephews, nieces and cousins in Ireland and the United States.

Her family will greet friends on Wednesday at 10:30 AM at St. Jerome Roman Catholic Church.  Nora's Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 AM.  Burial will take place in County Donegal, Ireland.
