Nadia (Rizanow) Martyniuk
With profound sadness and sorrow our beloved mother and grandmother Nadia (Rizanow) Martyniuk passed away on February 10, 2018, at the age of 92.
Nadia was born in Zaporizhia Ukraine. Nadia and her two year old son Ihor immigrated to the United States in 1950 and settled in Philadelphia. Nadia later married Mykola Martyniuk and together they settled in Lebanon, Pa. After retiring Nadia and her late husband Mykola moved to Allentown, Pa.
Nadia is survived by her son Ihor Rizanow and his wife Kristine (Pieniuta) Rizanow, grandsons Erik and Christopher Rizanow, Step-daughter Irene Milburn with her daughter Deanene and grandson Mykola from Lebanon Pa., her late Step-son Walter Martyniuk and wife Linda and their sons Scott and Jason from Fraser, Michigan.
Family and friends are invited to Nadia's viewing beginning at 9:00AM on Saturday, February 17th at St. Vladimir Ukrainian Orthodox Cathedral, 6740 N. 5th St., Philadelphia, PA 19126. Mass will be celebrated at 10:00. Interment to follow at Lawnview Cemetery, 500 Huntingdon Pike in Rockledge, PA. 19046.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Nadia may be made to St. Vladimir Ukrainian Orthodox Cathedral, 6740 N. 5th St., Philadelphia, PA 19126.
