John J. Lang, Jr.

John J. Lang, Jr. passed away Saturday, December 28, 2019. He was 76.

Born in Philadelphia on May 10, 1943, John was the son of the late John J. Lang, Sr. and Harriet (Broadhurst) Lang. He was a 1961 graduate of Frankford High School.

Along with his Brother-in-Law Harry Philibosian, John operated a dry-cleaning business in North Philadelphia for more than 35 years. After the dry-cleaning business closed, he started work with Jones of New York in the Data Processing Department until his retirement.

John and his wife Carol enjoyed traveling, and had the pleasure of visiting many destinations along the Eastern Seaboard, including Niagara Falls, the Bay of Fundy, New England, New York and the Outer Banks of North Carolina.

In addition to his beloved wife Carol (Wildsmith) Lang, John in survived by his children John Lang, III of North Carolina, Jeffrey Lang (Krissy) of the Poconos, Samuel Cirelli of Washington Crossing, and Amy Beaumont (Dean) of Arizona; his grandchildren Grace Lang, Jenna Lang, Madison Lang, Kelli Lang, Sara Cirelli, and Stephanie Cirelli; his sister Harriet Philibosian (late Harry); his nieces Leigh Philibosian and Susan Ingram (John); his great nieces/nephews Nathan Wedlock, Lydia Wedlock, Robert Ingram, Mitchell Ingram and Jay Ingram, and many dear friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to pay their respects to John's family on Saturday, January 4, 2020 from 10 to 11 am, followed by Memorial Mass with Eucharist at 11 am, at the Memorial Church of St. Luke, 1946 Welsh Road, Philadelphia, PA 19115. Interment will be held privately.

In lieu of flowers contributions in John's name may be made to the Memorial Church of St. Luke at the above address.
