Professor Petro Kluk, a longtime resident of Philadelphia, died Saturday in Upper Darby, PA. He was 97.
Born in Ukraine, Petro was an active member of the Ukrainian community of Philadelphia. He was a member of Pokrova Ukrainian Orthodox Church for many years before joining St. Vladimir Ukrainian Orthodox Church.
He had earned his PhD at the University of Madrid.
His viewing will be held on Wednesday at 9 AM at the Fletcher-Nasevich Funeral Home, 9529 Bustleton Avenue, Phila., PA 19115, followed by Requiem Services at 9:30 AM. Burial will follow at St. Andrew Ukrainian Orthodox Cemetery, South Bound Brook, NJ.
