Daria Moulder passed suddenly and unexpectedly on December 20th 2019, she was 57 years old. A resident of Brigantine NJ, she was formerly a long time resident of Cape May County.
Daria Moulder will be dearly missed by her daughters; Elizabeth (Dave), Emily (Buddy), and Stephanie (Bill); her siblings Helene (TJ) and Paul; her nephew, Sergei and many close friends and family. Daria grew up in Yardley, PA and spent her summers vacationing in the Wildwoods with her close family, creating a love for the beach that would last a lifetime. A good beach chair and some tanning oil was all she needed on a sunny summer day. Daria attended college at Muhlenburg. She was mathematically inclined like her father. She loved a good night out dancing with her friends. After college, Cape May County became her new home as she fell in love and started her family. Over the years Daria worked in the hospitality industry, keeping the books and office managing at several local establishments including Morey’s Piers, the Reges Oceanfront Resort and Ocean Towers. She had recently moved to Brigantine and loved her new home. Aside from working and loving the beach town life, she also had a soft spot for animals. She loved several cats and dogs over the years as pets; each time saying there wouldn’t be another but always opening her home and heart to another furry friend in need of a loving home. Daria loved a good laugh, especially one brought on by a Mel Brooks or Monty Python movie. Daria also never missed an opportunity to decorate. She loved her decorations that she would change out sometimes within just a week or two of a change depending on the season and holidays. Daria also was a great cook and baker. From family dinners to making enough for church lunches, she always made something delicious. Her cookies and other desserts were always a treat many looked forward to.
Daria’s life was one of many up and downs but through it all her faith remained strong. Her faith carried her through the dark times in her life. She loved and accepted Jesus as her savior. She had a strength and resolve about her that was unbounded. Her family and friends were most important to her. She always wanted to put them first. She was such a loving, caring, smart woman and will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Services for Daria will take place at St. Andrew's Russian Orthodox Cathedral, on Monday the 30th of December at 11:00 AM, with her viewing to begin at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at St. Vladimir Orthodox Parish Cemetery in Hamilton Township, NJ.
