Anna Hnatiuk

Anna Hnatiuk, a resident of Livonia, Michigan and formerly of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, died on Monday, June 11, 2018.  She was 97.

Born in Pecharna, Ukraine, Anna was the daughter of the late Dmytro and Olena Iwanyshyn.

She was the beloved wife of the late Dr. Miroslaw Hnatiuk and mother of Bohdan (Wiebke), George (Martha) and Andree (Victoria).  Anna was the  grandmother of Mark, Natalie, Gregory, Anna, Nicholas, Christopher, Michael and Stephanie and the great-grandmother of 13. 

Visitation will take place at the John N. Santeiu and Son Funeral Home, 139 N. Inkster Rd., Garden City, Michigan on Wednesday June 13th beginning at 3 PM until 8 PM with Panachyda at 6 PM. Her Funeral Service will begin at 10 AM at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Byzantine Church, 26667 Joy Rd., Dearborn Heights, Michigan. Viewing at 9:30 AM.  

Anna's interment will take place 12:30 PM Saturday June 16, 2018, at Saint Mary Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery, 438 Cedar Road in Elkins Park,  PA.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers memorials in Anna's memory may be offered to Ukraine National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy in Kyiv  "http://www.ukma.edu.ua/eng/ ".
