Anastasia Onopchenko

Anastasia Onopchenko (nee Shchirow) of Philadelphia, on February 17 at the age of 86. Survived by her loving husband, Nikolai. Devoted mother to Alexander (Trish), John (Linda), Lucy, and Vera (Bill) and adored grandmother of Mary, Natalie, Nathaniel, Isabelle, Liam and Owen. Predeceased by her beloved daughter, Mary. Loving aunt and godmother to Tanya Schiroki Janasiak (Richard) and her children Renee and Jason. A talented educator, she touched the lives of countless students fortunate enough to have her as their teacher. Viewing will be on Wednesday, February 21 from 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM at Fletcher-Nasevich Funeral Home, 9529 Bustleton Ave, Philadelphia, PA 19115. Funeral services will be on Thursday, February 22 at 10:00 AM at Holy Trinity, Russian Orthodox Church, 2211 W. Landis Ave., Vineland, NJ 08360 with interment to follow at Siloam Cemetery, Vineland, NJ.
