Alfred J Lee

It is with great sadness that the family of Alfred Joseph "Al" Lee announces his passing on Saturday, April 6, 2019, at the age of 95. He is now united in heaven with his beloved wife Genevieve.

He is the loving father of Patricia and Barbara; devoted grandfather of Brian (wife Katie), Bridget (husband Tom), Michael (wife Nicole), and the late Jillian; and great grandfather of Nicholas, Emily, Landon, Kaylee and Jakob.

Al was funny, friendly and outgoing; greeted everyone with a smile and left everyone he met with a smile on their faces. His sense of humor was infectious and will be greatly missed.

Al was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, and served his country proudly. He was also a member of the American Legion Post in Mechanicsburg, PA.

Al was a major sports enthusiast; especially when it came to his hometown of Philadelphia. He was an avid supporter of the Phillies and Eagles. He was so excited to see an Eagles Super Bowl win!

Relatives and friends are invited to a Mass in memory of Al, on Friday, April 12, 2019, at 10 AM, at Maternity BVM Church, 9220 Old Bustleton Ave., Philadelphia, PA 19115. Interment and Military Honors will follow at Our Lady of Grace Cemetery, Langhorne, PA. The family will greet friends from 9 to 10 AM in Church.

Al was so loved, and will be greatly missed. If desired, Al would have liked donations made in his name to the Muscular Dystrophy Associaion, 600 Reed Road, Suite 104, Broomall, PA 19008.
